MaxxAir MaxxFan Interior Mounting System
CNC machined from solid ABS bar stock in our California manufacturing facility (aka our garage), this mounting system is designed to eliminate the self-tapping screws through the roof skin and provide a compression mounted design using nuts and washers. It won’t rot like wood and provides a clean finished look for you MaxxFan Install. It also allows for easier servicing and replacement of the fan if that were to ever happen in the long run!

The Moonraker Design MaxxFan interior mounting system is by far the cleanest and most reliable way to mount your MaxxAir Fan. Engineered to provide a seamless and unobtrusive installation that sits below the ceiling ribs, this innovative mounting system sets a new standard. The material won’t ever rot or degrade like a wood insert and it’s designed for the harsh environment of adventure vans and van conversions alike. The MaxxFan interior mount system was designed for Sprinter vans specifically, but it will work in other van types too like a Dodge Promaster or a Ford Transit. The mounting system allows you to drill through holes instead of self-tapping screws in your van’s interior. This gives you the opportunity to properly apply rust prevention measures before sealing everything up.

We recommend using a thin layer of either:
between the brackets and the inner roof skin during install. Each kit comes with 16x 1.5” stainless steel socket head cap screws, washers and nuts. You can see how we used and installed these for our own build in the video below:
