Puli Township Video & Coupled Travel Frame

I've been trying to get back in the saddle lately after a long break due to crazy life syndrome.  Moving overseas, planning a wedding, and tying up loose ends at my old job sucked up the hours each day with ease.  With the remount comes pain, suffering, and a realization I'm severely out of shape.  It's a little frustrating how fast you lose it and how long it takes to bring it back.  Regardless I'm just happy to be able to have a little time here and there to ride again.  Last weekend I rode the furthest I have since I broke my neck in 2012.  I logged 93 miles on a trip to Sun Moon Lake, just south of Puli Township in Taiwan.  It was painful, I was unprepared, and I literally cried tears of joy when I saw my apartment building rolling back into town.  Next time I'll train up to it a bit more, but I did have a good time and the sights kept me smiling most of the day!

I've also been making progress on a coupled frame.  This frame is a fillet brazed 44mm HT S&S Coupled frame I'll be using when I travel.  I've been going on a lot of business trips around the world lately and am tired of missing out on exploring these places by bike!  The frame needs a little more clean up and she is ready for paint.  I found a local Taiwanese Frame Painter that is going to lay down the colors!

Thank you for all your support.  Ride your bike, appreciate the freedom it gives you!  Everyday is an adventure and a blessing, get out there and write your stories!
